Pretty in PEACH

As many of you may know, peach was one of the most popular colors seen on the runways of this spring's Fashion Week. Although we steered clear of the color until we managed to get a tan, it quickly became our favorite pastel of the season. Peach plays the same role as your classic "light pink" but is a lot more fun as it isn't as predictable. The color seems to add the perfect mix of style and sensibility to an outfit, matching with a variety of different colors (great for colorblocking), while also standing well alone. Whether it dominates an entire outfit from head to toe or simply pops with a nail polish or accessory, peach is definitely a color that every girl should have in her closet this spring. Take a look at some of our favorite peach items:

Tibi Pleated Silk-Crepe Skirt

Beautiful use of peach in this pleated skirt. Shown with a champaign colored sweater but can be colorblocked with many other colors including silver, coral, lavender, etc.

Kooba Clutch

Clutches have been incredibly popular this season. This Kooba clutch is gorgeous and will add a slight hint of peach to an outfit. Clutches are always an easy and fun way to accessorize.

Zara Scarf & Sylvia Benson Absolute Earring

Both these items are great ways to add a bit of peach to an everyday, casual outfit. The pair of Sylvia Benson studs on the left are appropriate for anytime or occasion. The Zara summer scarf can be thrown on to add a quick, last minute statement piece for a casual environment.

DVF Edna Dress

This DVF dress is great because it takes care of the color blocking for you! Pretty use of peach contrasted with an apricot color. Provides an easy, well put-together spring look.

Bobbi Brown Blush & Chanel Nail Colour

Apparel and accessories are not the only way to add a touch of peach to your look - makeup is just as effective! The use of peach in cosmetics provides a pretty, natural look, that is trendy but not too severe. Follow in the steps of Tracy Reece, who brushed the cheeks of her Spring 2012 models with a light peach blush; or fashion icon Kate Middleton, who recently replaced her typical nude nail polish with peach. Bobbi Brown's "Nude Peach" blush and Chanel's Le Bernis nail colour "June" will do just the trick.

Sylvia Benson Cayman Earring

We figured we would finish off today's blog with one of our favorite pieces of Sylvia Benson Jewelry - the Cayman Earring in peach. This earring is perfect for so many different occasions and significantly adds color to an outfit without overdoing it.
